Getting started
What do I need to use Exersio?
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. An Apple Watch is optional, and adds guided workouts on your wrist. Exersio also runs on iPad.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no account, sign-in or password. Open the app, allow Apple Health access, and you're ready.
Why does Exersio ask for Apple Health access?
Apple Health is where Exersio reads your workouts, sleep and daily figures, and saves the things you log. You can allow everything at once or choose item by item, and change it any time in the Health app (your picture › Apps › Exersio). If something is switched off, Exersio tells you which, so you know why a chart is empty.
A chart or tile is empty. Why?
Usually Health access for that item is switched off, or nothing has written that figure to Health yet. Check the Health app › your picture › Apps › Exersio. Pull down to refresh in Exersio after changing it.
Plans and workouts
How are the plans made?
With fixed coaching rules, not AI. Each plan has a standard week, and Exersio scales it week by week: base, build and peak phases, an easier week every fourth, no more than 10% extra a week, and a taper before race day.
I missed a week. What now?
Use Catch Me Up in the Plan tab. It compares what was planned with what you did over the last few weeks and rebuilds the coming weeks from where you really are.
I built a plan on the website. How do I start it?
Get Exersio, then answer the same few questions in the app and your plan is ready in seconds. In the app it can also start from what you do now in each sport, set exact paces, and adapt as you go.
Does it work with Garmin, Strava, Wahoo or Zwift?
Yes, through Apple Health. Turn on Apple Health syncing in that app, and your workouts appear in Exersio automatically, matched to your plan. See everything Exersio works with.
Can I record workouts on Apple Watch?
Yes. Start today's session, a library workout, a gym routine or race mode on your Watch. Workouts are saved to Apple Health with their route.
What is the readiness score?
A score out of 100 each morning from last night's sleep (40), your form (30), how your load compares with usual (20), and yesterday's effort (10). Under six hours' sleep caps it at 70. It's general guidance, not medical advice.
Pro and billing
What's included in Pro?
Race and triathlon plans, guided workouts on iPhone and Apple Watch, exact paces, zones, race mode, unlimited plans and routines, measurements and photos, full strength history and export. See Pricing for the full list.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Exersio. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Apple handles billing, so we can't cancel or refund it for you.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and choose Exersio.
I got a new phone and Pro isn't showing.
Open the Exersio Pro screen (from your profile, or by tapping any Pro feature) and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID.
Privacy and your data
Do you see my health data?
No. Exersio has no server. Your data stays on your iPhone, your Apple Watch and in Apple Health. See the Privacy Policy.
Does Exersio sync between devices with iCloud?
No, on purpose. Health data stays out of iCloud. To move to a new phone, use Back Up App Data (your profile › Your Data), and your Health data comes across with your iPhone backup.
How do I export or delete my data?
Export as CSV, PDF or plan files from your profile › Your Data. To delete everything Exersio stores, go to your profile › Privacy & About › Erase All App Data, or delete the app. Health data is managed in the Health app.
